Faroe Maritime Technic was established the 10th of July 2008, based on the Oil Conveyor, invented by chief engineer, Kaj Joensen.

Originally his effort in developing the separator device was supported by mini-grants from the Faroese Ministry of the Interior and BP Amoco, but later the investment funds “Framtak” and “Royndin” confirmed the high potentials of this new product and together with sp/f KPT established Faroe Maritime Technic.

After more than one year of testing and making improvements Faroe Maritime Technic in October 2009 was ready to start selling their product.

Today the goal is to make maritime environments more safe, clean and free of maintenance, all around the world.
